About the Author

Marisa Peña is a best-selling and award-winning children's board game inventor with game titles including Outfoxed!, Dinosaur Escape, Acorn Soup, and The Fairy Game. With her partners at Department of Recreation, she has sold millions of copies of their cooperative games, designed to bring joy, connection, and surprise to kids and families around the world.

Marisa is excited to debut her first children's book series. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children, where they play, learn, and explore the beautiful forests and mountains.
